The Corporation is organized for the following purposes:
(a) To promote the general interests of all
business entities located in Southern Fauquier County,
(b) To enhance awareness of developments and proposals
affecting all business interests in Southern Fauquier County and,
(c) To undertake any action consistent with these purposes
not prohibited by law.
There are three classes of membership, i.e., regular, affiliate,
and honorary.
Any lawful business entity (individual, partnership,
association, corporation, or other business) located within and
doing business in the Lee and Cedar Run districts outlined in
the Articles of Incorporation shall be eligible for regular
membership in the Corporation, subject to approval of the Board
of Directors. A business entity may have only one regular
membership. Separate business entities having the same ownership
may have separate regular memberships subject to approval of the
Board of Directors, who shall give consideration to
concentration of voting power and such other matters in the best
interests of the Corporation as they deem appropriate.
